Original Seiko crown, reference 505240, made in Japan.
This is a New Old Stock (NOS) vintage part, never installed, supplied with its original Seiko Japan tag.

The crown is fitted with the original square fixing plate, a classic Seiko construction widely used on vintage mechanical watches from the 1960s–1970s.

⚠️ Important note:
The internal gasket shows visible age-related hardening / discoloration, which is normal for NOS parts of this era.
The crown itself has never been mounted and remains original.
For water resistance, the gasket can be replaced during installation by a watchmaker.
